With the mac upgrade my old quicken will not work. Prior to this upgrade I've been using an old version of quicken for mac that worked fine for me. I just up graded my mac to the high sierra 10.13.6. R7 isn't compatible with High Sierra as it uses Garbage Collection which Apple stopped supporting. Your problem is you are trying to launch R7 on High Sierra. I'm able to download R15 from the link SkinnyRaven provided.
The current version of QuickBooks Mac 2015 is R15.
